The Schumacher Lions Club accepted a check for $10k from members of the Municipal Accommodations Tourism Tax (MATT) Grant committee to support costs related to the Sportsman Show, which took place on April 27th and 28th.
This year marked a historic milestone as the club celebrated over 70 years of hosting the largest sportsman show north of the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario.
Drawing an impressive crowd of over 7500 attendees from across northern Ontario over the two-day event, the Sportsman Show showcased the best in outdoor sportsmanship and conservation.
