Northern Ontario Hockey Association scores funds from MAT Tourism Fund Committee

Mike Kentish presented members of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) with a check for $4000. The funds support the organization with costs directly associated to hosting their 2023 Annual General Meeting.

The event brought more than 125 delegates from each of the 75+ associations and across northeastern Ontario.

The Tourism Timmins Interim Tourism Strategy identifies target meetings and conferences as priority experiences to develop and enhance.

The MAT Tourism Fund, which offers strategic investment and funding to promote and grow the tourism industry in the City of Timmins, is administered by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation (TEDC). More information at timminsedc.com/mat-fund/.
