MAT Tourism Fund Committee grants Timmins Ringette Association with $17k

TIMMINS, ON – The Timmins Economic Development Corporation’s (TEDC) MAT Tourism Fund Committee is pleased to grant the Timmins Ringette Association with $17,000.

The funds supported the organization with costs directly associated to hosting the 2023 Northeast Regional Ringette Championships in the City of Timmins on March 31 – April 2, 2023. The city has not hosted a ringette tournament since 2018 and the organizers were pleased to welcome 240 – 250 players, along with coaches, parents and guests.

The MAT Tourism Fund, which offers strategic investment and funding to promote and grow the tourism industry in the City of Timmins, is administered by the TEDC. Learn more at timminsedc.com/mat-fund/.
